How to Modify the [To Allocate/Deduct] Quantity of Your Order?
Update Time: 17 Sep 2025 01:55
When the inventory feature is enabled and an order is synced to BigSeller, the system will automatically allocate inventory based on the product quantity in the order. However, situations may arise such as insufficient stock or buyers purchasing the wrong product. In these cases, sellers need to adjust the allocated inventory to reflect the actual situation.
If the quantity of items to be shipped needs to be reduced, the seller can first communicate with the buyer, then update the allocated inventory quantity so that the system deducts stock accurately. In such case, there is no need to cancel the order.
Where to Edit
You can adjust the quantity in Order Details on these pages:
- New Orders
- In Process Orders
- Voided Orders
Steps
Step 1: Enter the order details from the pages above.
Step 2: In Order Details, you can modify the [To Allocate / Deduct] Qty to the desired smaller amount.
- When modifying to Allocate / Deduct Qty, you can only reduce the quantity, not increase it (e.g., from 5 → 4).
- After editing, check whether you need to reprint shipping labels or pick lists. Ensure the printed SKU quantities match the updated allocation.
